Programmes and projects helps you to organise your workspace. Each project will have a feed of SmartNotes, and you’ll be able to decide who gets access to each project.

You can choose how to name your Programmes and Projects based on what works best for your organisation. You will use this structure to navigate around the app, so try to choose a structure that will be intuitive for your team.

Programmes

Programmes are high-level groups that can represent:

• Your clients (e.g. local councils, rail companies, developers)

or

• If you are the client, they can be grouped by Operations, Capital Delivery, location (e.g. country, region, route), or business division

Projects

Projects in SymTerra are grouped under Programmes and represent individual pieces of work.
