A SmartNote (SN for short) is any update you share on SymTerra across your projects. Whether you’re in the field or at your desk, SmartNotes make sure that everyone is singing off the same Sym-sheet!

Navigate to this tab on the sidebar menu on Web.
Here, you will find your SmartNote feed.
Check the purple bar at the top to ensure that you’re in the correct Programme/Project.
Select the purple Add SmartNote button in the bottom-left corner.

In the summary text, you can give information about the SN.

You can tag users by using @ followed by the name, or use a hashtag using #

Click the photo icon to add photos.
Select ‘Link it’ to link your SN to an activity, location, asset, report, drawings or file.
Once done, select the RAG status in the top-right corner and click Post.

To fill in a form or report, simply follow the same steps as adding a SmartNote (see above).
The only difference is - in the Add more detail screen, select the report you want to fill. That’s all!

If you can’t find the report you need, contact your manager or company admin - it’s likely the form wasn’t added to the project space.
